Pickleball Play Beyond the Beginner Clinic: Indoor Play Options for Cold Weather

Congratulations on conquering the beginner lessons!”  As players graduate from my beginner clinics, the number one question echoing is, “Where can I play next?  Let's explore your options for indoor play.

1. Local YMCA's:

When the weather turns chilly, your local YMCA becomes a haven for recreational pickleball. It's a warm and welcoming spot to continue playing and honing your skills.

2. Private Country Clubs:

For those seeking an exclusive experience, many private country clubs have caught onto the pickleball excitement. Check out your nearby country club for some top-notch indoor playing opportunities.

3. Tennis Clubs:

Tennis clubs are embracing the pickleball trend, expanding their offerings to include this fast-paced game. It's a fantastic chance to mix things up and enjoy indoor facilities.

4. Pickleball Only Clubs:

For the ultimate pickleball enthusiasts, some clubs are entirely dedicated to the sport. Keep an eye out for these clubs because more and more are opening in your community.

5. Community Recreation Centers

Several local community recreation centers offer multi-sport options and have included pickleball in their programs.

Keep in mind, that sunny days are ahead, and we'll soon be back outside enjoying pickleball in the fresh air. As a bonus, tomorrow is Groundhog Day – and I've got a good feeling about it. After all, who wouldn't trust a groundhog's prediction? Stay warm, keep playing, and get ready for an exciting pickleball journey ahead! #pickleballbeginners #IndoorPickleball #GroundhogDayOptimism
